JDI Integrations
JDI Integrations is an Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business founded in 2019 to provide mission-critical engineering, construction, and expeditionary solutions worldwide. As seasoned systems integrators, JDI designs and delivers turnkey solutions tailored for demanding operational environments.
When Russia launched its illegal invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, JDI was already operating in the country with an established local team. Despite grave dangers, JDI’s integrated American, Ukrainian and European teams forged on, facilitating over $5 million in urgent humanitarian aid shipments into Ukraine, Poland and Romania.
From the invasion’s outset, JDI proved an invaluable humanitarian partner and vanguard force delivering extraordinary relief capabilities from European bases into beleaguered Ukraine. Their achievements over the past year are unparalleled:
- For the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv, JDI rapidly delivered over $2.5 million in portable micro-grids with solar power functionality, allowing Ukraine’s National Police to uphold rule of law amid infrastructure destruction.
- For USAID, JDI provided $435,120 in heavy equipment restoring war-torn electrical infrastructure.
- For the UN’s IOM, JDI fulfilled an $85,891 contract delivering portable solar generators and relief supplies to displaced populations.
JDI teams overcame nightmarish logistical obstacles like ruptured supply chains and active combat zones – yet met 100% of delivery timelines through sheer tenacity. Their success stemmed from entrenched networks, forward-staged assets, multi-modal logistics mastery, and moral fortitude to persevere under duress.
A key factor was JDI’s partnership with The Third Eye, a Ukrainian non-profit identifying unmet operational needs. JDI translated Third Eye’s insights into tangible solutions, providing mobile renewable power, overhead protection systems and more for military units and civilians. The synergy allowed rapid response to evolving challenges.
While disruptive to growth plans, JDI dedicated capabilities to directly supporting Ukrainians suffering oppression – self-funding over $50,000 in costs after exhausting startup capital. JDI stood as an ethical vanguard projecting hope to a nation under autocratic siege through sheer resilience and commitment to stakeholders, regardless of personal cost.
